CALL TO ACTION
HERE IS WHAT YOU CAN DO TO DEFEND SPLIT OAK FOREST TODAY!
Every single person interested in conserving land for future generations to enjoy can play a significant role in the Save Split Oak Forest campaign. There are small individual actions you can take like sending an email or signing a petition which is quick and easy to show your support for this initiative. There are also ways to roll up your sleeves and get more involved as a hands-on volunteer or even an ambassador to take the lead on advocacy in your circle of contacts.

WRITE AN EMAIL TO YOUR COMMISSIONER
By writing an email to your elected official in Osceola or Orange County, you can frequently put support for this forest on their radar and put into public record your action of solidarity.

ORANGE AND OSCEOLA COUNTY COMMISSION MEETINGS HAVE PUBLIC COMMENT
Let your voice be heard. By showing up to speak at either Commission meeting to give a Public Comment, you have an opportunity to speak directly to the Board and Commissioner’s about your support to stop the toll road through Split Oak and limit the amount of harmful urban sprawl coming into the Eastern Side of the Counties.

BECOME A SPLIT OAK FOREST AMBASSADOR
The new Save Split Oak Forest Ambassador program is an effort to give hands-on volunteers a way to become representatives of the movement in their circles to engage their local audiences and recruit future volunteers. This is a way for people who have more time and are able to commit a chance to do their own events, and bring in their own teams to handle future needs of the campaign.
